More and more people are asking me questions about my new course PROZPÍVEJME SE LÉTEM aka Let’s learn Czech through songs. Therefore I have decided to answer the most frequent questions in this article.
This course starts in August 2023.
It’s goal is to refresh/learn:
🍀 Czech vocab (eg. topics clothes, seasons of the year, months, verbs in Czech etc.)
🍀 formal vs. informal Czech (textbook version x real-life Czech)
🍀 Czech grammar (eg. adjectives, past tense of frequent Czech verbs, question words, infinitives + present tense etc.)
🍀 improve your pronunciation and listening skills in Czech (especially soft sounds, proper lengths of syllables) so that Czech people can understand you and you can understand us better
All of that done by carefully chosen Czech songs and multiple tasks that I have prepared:
⭐️ crossword
⭐️ hangman
⭐️ putting the words into the correct order
⭐️ gap filling
⭐️ quizzes
and so much more…
It is for 2 weeks.
It’s an e-mail course. You will get an e-mail each day for 2 weeks.
You will get an e-mail with the program each day.
Monday to Friday – a new song every day (plus translation in English, variety of tasks, cultural background, etc.)
Saturday and Sunday will be all about revision.
Songs are amazing. They help our brain remember words, grammatical structures and word order much faster than drilling grammatical exercises. And it’s definitely MORE FUN!
Songs help us with correct pronunciation and rhythm so that we sound more natural.
I also share different interesting facts about the authors/singers and periods of time when these songs were created. It’s a nice introduction to Czech culture.
It was the most challenging part of the whole preparation process. Picking the right songs that would cover the grammar, vocab and variety of styles and different decades (to really show the width of Czech culture).
You can find there for example:
⭐️ love song
⭐️ rock song
⭐️ song from the 60’s
⭐️ pop song
⭐️ song from the 80’s
⭐️ rap song
This course costs 499 Kč.

I have created keys to all tasks of the course so that you can easily check whether you are right or wrong.
You will also receive videos in which I explain certain grammatical topics that appear in the songs to help you understand it better (or videos in which I pronounce the vocab in Czech).
