  • A: I saw you in the centre last night. Where did you go?
  • B: I went to dinner with Dana at the Italian restaurant. And where did you go? Did you go on a date?
  • A: No, I didn’t go on a date. Jana and I had a really big argument yesterday afternoon. She told me to get lost. So I went to the pub with a friend for a beer.

  2. A: Where did you go yesterday at noon?
  3. B: We went to a restaurant for lunch.
  4. A: Was the food good? Did you like it?
  5. B: No, I didn’t like it at all. I won’t go there for lunch again.
  6. A: I went there for lunch last month and didn’t like the food back then either.
  7. B: What did you have? I had goulash with dumplings yesterday.
  8. A: Me too.
