Detailed Explanations

Kabát (Coat)

Czech:

Kabát je obvykle delší než bunda. Kabát nosím na podzim nebo v zimě. Někdy také na jaře. Kabát si obléknu, když chci vypadat elegantně.

English:

A coat is usually longer than a jacket. I wear a coat in autumn or winter, sometimes even in spring. I put on a coat when I want to look elegant.

Bunda (Jacket)

Czech:

Bundu často nosím na procházky se psem.

English:

I often wear jacket for walking the dog.

Čepice (Cap)

English:

I wear a cap on my head when it’s very cold. I don’t really like a cap. I don’t like wearing a cap.

Šála (Scarf)

English:

A scarf is a strip of fabric that I wrap around my neck to keep warm. It’s a nice fashion accessory. I love wearing scarves.

Rukavice (Gloves)

Czech:

Jedna rukavice.

English:

One glove. I wear gloves when it’s extremely cold outside, when it’s freezing. You can have leather gloves, which are made of leather, or woolen gloves, which are made of wool. I like wearing gloves when I go for a walk with my dog. When I don’t have gloves, my hands freeze. They are very cold; they are icy.

Kozačky (Boots)

Czech:

Jedna kozačka. Kozačky obvykle nosí ženy. Já mám tmavě modré kozačky. Jsou kožené a mají zip.

English:

One boot. Boots are usually worn by women. I have dark blue boots. They are made of leather and have a zipper.
