However, you can’t order a single scoop; the smallest amount is 2. When faced with this sweet dilemma, I found myself engaging in an intriguing dialogue that I’m excited to share with you.

Navigating a new language can be daunting, so let’s break it down. Here’s the friendly exchange that took place:

„Můžeme si dva kopečky rozdělit do dvou kornoutků?“ (Translation: Can we split two scoops into two cones?)

„Ano, to můžete. A jakou zmrzlinu si dáte?“ (Translation: Yes, you can. And what ice cream would you like?)

The clerk then recommended pistachio and salted caramel, but only pistachio was available that day. We opted for pistachio in one cone and chocolate in another.

„Děkuji. Čtyřicet pět korun, prosím. Budete platit hotově nebo kartou?“ (Translation: Thank you. Forty-five crowns, please. Will you pay in cash or by card?)
