
Today’s episode will be the first part. I will share with you only seven places so that you don’t feel overwhelmed, and I will divide them into three categories: masculine, feminine, and neutral.

You see a pattern here. The masculine and neutral nouns do not change when talking about places. The tricky part is with the feminine nouns, as seen with words ending in -A such as UNIVERZITA – which changes to -U (ŠEL JSEM NA UNIVERZITU) and those ending in -E like POLICIE – which changes to -I (JDU NA POLICII). If you’re into the grammar of it, these are all in the accusative case.
