3-MONTH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM THROUGH THE EYES OF ANDREA

I got contacted by Andrea via Instagram. Andrea is from Germany and she loves learning languages. Before we started studying together, I sent her a set of questions that she answered very fast. Then we had a Zoom call during which we discussed different options. We agreed on the 3-month individual program.

Andrea was willing to share with you her learning journey and first impressions.

How about you and your learning journey, Andrea?

I was practicing Czech by myself since almost a year. Lately I had the feeling I got kinda stuck and there was no progress anymore. This was the moment I realized, I need some teacher that brings me back on track and supports me to improve my Czech skills.
And there was you, Renča 🙂 I wrote you a message on Instagram and got a very quick and friendly reply. You offered me a time slot for a initial call. After this call I decided to book the 3 months individual course and to become your student. The call was absolutely friendly and since the first minute I had the feeling that I found the right teacher for me.

Why did you choose the 3-month individual program?

What I really like about the 3 month individual course is, that I am very flexible and can decide by my own when I want or when I have time to practice Czech.
I am at the beginning of the course but what I can already say is, that your course slides are very well structured. I appreciate the individual approach that you are offering for every student.

I told you that I would like to know more about Czech’s culture and traditions and you already provided me material in my first week of the course.

(Renča’s reply: I’m so happy to hear that. I feel like an explorer who is looking for different treasures on the internet. Sometimes it’s about space, another time about traditions or Czech recipes – depending on the person for whom I’m preparing the program. It’s so much fun.)

What do you think about the structure of the program? What does it consist of every week?

The amount of tasks per week is defined very well and there is good defined mix of different material like grammar, listening, reading and vocabulary tasks and also different channels like videos, articles from the internet, worksheets,..

I am looking forward to spend the next weeks studying with you.
